Algae are considered as a promising source for biofuel and bio-products. Algae contain carbohydrates,  lipids, proteins and their photosynthetic  and lipid accumulating potential makes them a suitable candidate for bioenergy. Algal biomass is used in the production of biofuels likebiodiesel, bioethanol, biobutanol,  and  biohydrogen etc.  Therefore, actually the usage of algal biomass in multiple applications like fuel, food and environment is in progress. Apart from bioenergy production from algae, industrially important co-products or value added products extracted from microalgae, various microalgae utilized for the extraction of omega-3 fatty acids. Also environmental  application of microalgae namely wastewater  treatment and CO2 sequestration were exploited.

Our team is constituted of dynamic individuals with a passion for improving the valorisation of microalgae. With this platform untitled "Platform of microalgae events 2019", we are pleased to invite you to be part of the upcoming event about the use of microalgae in which many people from different places and professions exchange their ideas and their experiences to improve the world of the valorization of microalgae. We can present three domains:

• Valorization of microalgae for the food products and consmuption
• Valorization of microalgae for health and cosmetic products
• Valorization of microalgae  for the environment and energy.
